Our Summer Camp Program is a great way to keep young bodies and minds active in-between school years. Each day, we offer a variety of activities to promote fun and learning:
Math and English Learning Centres
An education morning working on Math and English programs customized for your child’s needs working along side with the Ontario Curriculum.
Junior Lego Building
Campers will use the new Lego WeDo Bluetooth Version 2.0 and tablets to build a variety of structures such as race cars, robots, frogs, rescue helicopters, recycling trucks, space rovers, fork lifts, bridges, robotic arms and more. They will then learn to program them on tablets to move and make sounds using programming blocks.
Campers discover and explore how and why things work by concocting fun experiments and creating projects.
Arts – Clay & Crafts
Campers will paint, draw, build and create a variety of crafts such as t-shirt painting, bead designs, polymer clay, ceramics, clay pot crafts, soap making & more.
Campers will play a variety of sports and games such as soccer, volleyball, touch football, badminton, soccer, and baseball. Games such as capture the Flag, Manhunt, Twister, and obstacle courses will be played. In case of rain campers will stay indoors and do crafts or Lego.
Connect with nature! The week will be filled with nature-oriented activities plus sports and crafts.
We look forward to making learning fun and an unforgettable summer!
